NORMAL- After a record setting season, the Illinois State Men’s Basketball team lost three starters to graduation. Now that count has moved to four after junior MiKyle McIntosh announced his intentions to declare for the NBA draft.
Head Coach Dan Muller made the announcement Monday. The departure leaves sophomore Phil Fayne as the lone starter returning next season.
Over his three years at Illinois State, McIntosh has been a staple in the starting lineup, including 29 games this season despite injuring his knee midway through the year. Muller says that if McIntosh does not turn pro, he will graduate in May, and transfer out of the program.
