I am a constitutionalist; I believe the United States of America was founded on God given principles and I believe the constitution was written on the basis of Christianity. I know the constitution has 27 amendments but the core of our freedom is the first ten, the bill of rights. The strongest of which is the second, arguably I know, but it is a fact in our history that our borders have not been crossed by another government’s military because of the second Amendment. That strength is why the second amendment has been under constant attack. What part of “keep and bear arms” do people, especially in our government,not understand? And how is it that police authorities enforce laws that are clearly unconstitutional.

Thomas Jefferson Emphasized the strength of the second amendment when he warned us againsttyranny. One of our Illinois governors, who recently got out of jail,had enacted alaw that made it illegal in the state of Illinois to be in possession of a firearm without “permission” from the state. The state of Illinois was the last state in the union to pass a conceal carry law. So now, In Illinois, you have to have a permit to own a firearm, and you have to have a second permit to carry that firearm. Even with those 2 permits you can still be arrested if you bear that firearm. How is that not infringement!

I mentioned that the second amendment was the strongest in that it was the protection of all the rest. Now it seems you have to have permission of the government at least in Illinois to even look at a firearm. The strength of the Second Amendment has been reduced to permits and regulations.

And the result of this assault on our strongest constitutional right? Now your first amendments rights are under attack,The Affordable Care Act forces owners of businesses to violate their religious beliefs. A recent case at the US supreme court could put churches and religious organizations at risk. And the NSA continues to listen to your phone conversations. Your third amendment rights will be tested this summer with Operation Jade Helm. Shall we ask Lois Learner about your fourth amendment rights? And the EPA is preparing to come down hard on your Fifth Amendment rights.
