Jane Geske Amerman

HEYWORTH – Jane Geske Amerman, 95, of Heyworth, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017 at 11:07pm at Heritage Health in Bloomington.

Jane was born September 22, 1921 in Randolph to Al and Florence (Smith) Geske. She married Kenneth Amerman on April 8, 1944 in LeRoy. He preceded her in death on July 4, 1979.

Surviving is a daughter; Melissa (Larry) Ross of Matthews, NC. She was a grandmother to four – Stacy (Todd) O’Sadnick of Mendota, IL, Eric (Heather) Ross of Worthington, OH, J. Bryce (Moriah) Davis of Westerville, OH and Megan (Daniel) Charlton of Concord, NC. She also was the proud great grandmother of 10.

Jane was a very active member of the Heyworth Christian Church and active in her community.

Jane’s celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Heyworth Christian Church with Pastor Vernon Oakley and Pastor Pete Hopkins officiating. Following the service burial will take place at East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 12, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington and also an hour prior to service on Tuesday at the church.

Memorials may be made to the Heyworth Christian Church Missions for the Spread of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
