Lyons makes start for Cardinals on WJBC today

BLOOMINGTON – Tyler Lyons will make an emergency start for the Cardinals Saturday against the Kansas City Royals at Busch Stadium.

Lyons was called up from Triple-A Memphis after Lance Lynn was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a forearm strain.

The pre-game show starts at 2:15 on WJBC 1230 AM. Lyons will be opposed by the Royals’ Jeremy Guthrie, who is 4-3 with a 5.82 earned run average.
