FAIRBURY – The 141st annual Fairbury Fair begins today with a long list of events suitable for young and old.
Today, there is an opportunity to donate blood at the Red Cross Bloodmobile, a rooster crowing contest, a DJ under the beer tent and carnival rides.
Thursday is Day Care Day with a free gate until 3 p.m. with ticket deals for rides, a meat goat show and a DJ in the beer tent.
Friday includes a euchre tournament, carnival rides, demolition derby and Jury’s Out performs under the beer tent in the evening.
Saturday’s 5K run or two mile walk starts off the day bright and early, followed by a kids Baggo tournament, carnival rides and racing at the speedway with more music at the beer tent.
Sunday ends the fair with a community worship service at the grandstands, antique farm equipment displays, a chili cook-off, Baggo tournament and carnival rides throughout the day.
