Obituaries: Hollahan

Donald C. Hollahan, 97, of Pontiac, IL, formerly of Sun Lakes, AZ passed away at 12:35 p.m. on Monday, September 18, 2017 at Evenglow Inn in Pontiac.

There will be no services.

He was born December 27, 1919 in Pontiac, IL a son of James and Eva (Bromley) Hollahan. He married Thelma Lommatsch on March 1, 1941. She died November 4, 2012.

He was preceded in death by two brothers: Carl and James Hollahan, four sisters: Eva Kemp, Mary Branz, Reva Lind, and Teresa Garland. He is survived by one sister: Berniece Barrett of Pontiac, IL.

Don served his country in the United States Army during WWII in France achieving the rank of Captain.
