‘Lucky Lotto Day’ winning ticket purchased in El Paso

If you bought a lotto ticket in El Paso, for Thursday’s Illinois Lottery drawing… check it again, you might just be a winner.

Lottery Officials say a winning Quick Pick ticket worth the sum total of $150,000 with the numbers 06- 09 -22 -23 -31 was purchased at the Shell station at 680 W. Main St.

This comes just two days after another Lottery winning of a quarter million dollars in nearby Lexington. That winner, Cheryl Wells, purchased the $10 ticket on her break.

The Illinois Lottery urges every winner to sign the back of the ticket, and keep it safe before visiting any of the Lottery’s five prize centers in Chicago, Rockford, Des Plaines, Springfield, or Fairview.

Lottery officials say that in addition to the mystery ‘Lucky Lotto Day’ winner, more than 10,000 people won anywhere from $1 to $200 in the latest drawing.
